hey guys and gals im looking to put on a full exhaust, header back. I would like a deeper sound<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> to it also.
Here are my questions:
1. what dia. should i look for?
2. cat conv. do i need one?
3. what about a midpipe?
4. what kind of gains can i expect?
5. are there any dual tip systems avail.?
sorry so many questions, but you guys are my best source of info that i can trust<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

i have a sero speed exaust with dual tip gave my car a very nice sound not those loud obnoxius bumble bee sounds a nice low growl

#1. 2.25' to 2.5" if you are going to stay normally aspirated. With 2.5", you might loose a bit of bottom end, but gain in the top end.
#2. If you want to pass smog...yes.
#3. Exhaust are either Axle back, or cat back. No "mid" pipe is needed. KORE is full cat back. HKS dragger is just an axle back muffler.
#4. Depends on what other mods you have, Batlord got 17 Hp(104 to 121) and 11 (106 to 117) Torque to the wheels out of the KORE CAI, Shark Racing 4-2-1 Headers, and KORE Full cat back.(autotragic tranny)
#5. No, you would have to have it custom made. there are no performace benefits of a dual exhaust on an I4 engine. You would hurt performance with the added weight of the second tailpipe.

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.
