i saw that car along time ago but I didnt know it was a APC car So I thought it was a car with a APC sticker, I didnt know it was from APC, I had my doubt until I enter their website today Monday day that i place my post in the tiburon section, since they where under construction.

Yes... And if you saw the interview with the C.E.O. of APC on speedvision you could have seen him take full credit for making Hun-Die cool... He said somthing like "Yeah Hun-Die's are really underpowerd and you never saw them until we made them cool..." or somthing like that, it just pissed me off that he couldn't even pronounce the word Hyundai.... Anyway... Just my oppinion....

To be honest, APC has done pretty well crap for Hyundai. They made the Euro lights and thats it. For the 2000-2001's.

Now all of sudden they are getting hardcore into Hyundai this year.

The year that I think opened a lot of people's eyes to Hyundai was the 1999 Hyundai Tiburon SE /w 15" (or was it 16") alloy rims and shark spoiler.

Me, it was the 1997 Hyundai Tiburon in general.

i'm with vtc_civic on this one. apc is the epitome of rice companies. the orange tib does look better though, sin/blackouts.

but the reason its such a big thing is because no "big" company really backed hyundai until apc did. so in a way they opened the door.

Actually, the Hyundai community along with Kore, MHP, and SharkRacing opened the door.
Now we have APC, AEM, B&M, and others bringing out components, and believe it or not, APC will get the Hyundai name out there with their apperance products and their cars faster than say AEM and B&M will, simply because they are known for their appearance products (good and bad).

actually reid, APC did open the door to the big name companies. they were the first well known aftermarket company to show support for hyundais with their 2ktib and elantra gt.

They were able to grab more media attention, yes. I think MHP had some serious dealings with APC though, and if there weren't forums like HP, Fxtreme, and SR, there may not have been a demand for the products like there is now. Add to it that SR, Kore, and MHP were developing products before APC came along, and APC saw that there was a market since all three companies were growing and adding new products.

that is true, but the fact is kore, mhp and sr arn't highly well known companies in the aftermarket industry, apc is, and they are the first company to really get the ball rolling for other major companies.
