Sorry guys I haven't been on for awhile been super busy working on my car as well as my friends rides.
To answer your question Vega If you go with the actual 4G63T motor you will have to get the wiring harness from the eclipse along with the computer, and all the sensors.
In my opinion the best way to go is just Turbo the 4G67 motor like I did that is the easiest and cheapest way to go.
Well TRS you can find the Enignes at places like Nippon Motors www.nippon-motors.com or at K wanatbe both are very good resources for motors and cheap.
Well i guess i wont be doing the turbo swap. cuz im investing 1000 in the trans now. (broke) and i dont want to fix it then swap it out. If i do end up doing the swap, it'll be in 2 or 3 years when the motor gives up.
Yoooooo I got some good news from alpine regards on my turbo!

quote:
Hello Alex,
Gavin has been on leave for the past week. I have confirmation from our
despatch department that your kit will be leaving on Monday 20th. I will
fax you a airwaybill once I receive it from our freight agent. Should be
Tues/Wed.
ok.I'm ready to do the swap.well almost,i need the eclipse front wheel drive tranny.i'm going to put a 1992 4g63t motor in my 1992 s-coupe.Does any one know how hard it will be to do?Does anyone know someone who has done this already?
Dont s-coupes have the motor and trans on the opposite side as 4G engines?? The guy at the hyundai dealer told me that.. Not sure
I got a 4G67 motor and i have some people telling me it will fit into my car, but then i have others telling me it won't fit b/c of the different positions of the motor. I just decided to add a T25 turbo to it or maybe take one out of a 4G63T 90-94 eclipse and adding it to mine. Only time will tell. I am still getting information on everything first.
I am about to roll out and find something to do b/c it is boring in my house. Hopefully somebody will pull up next to me and rev on me so i can leave him at a light.
Well I guess this is a good thing. I got my airway bill for my turbo, but when I went to the cargo area (D&N and America West british) they said they didnt have it yet. so I guess.....well **** I dont know Ill try again later Its kinda making me confused
hoss I do recommend gettiing Alpine turbo at www.alpine-developments.com they have it for a 2.0 tibby, but if you have a 1.8 or a 2.0 Vehicle which you DO then get it because it has everything you need. The only thing youll need to buy is a Blow off valve and maybee electronic boost control if you lazy like me hehe. tell them your from HP.com
