Rob was kind of enough to photochop my car and put the rims on it that Im thinking of getting next spring.

They are 16" Borbet Type S rims. I like them. What do you guys think? Any opinions of other rims that you guys like that would look good on the elantra, please post. Thanks!

Nah! those are pathetic jrh (just kidding). but if you really want the wire mesh look... try this:

http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=2&ss_categoryName=Imagine
or
http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=19&ss_categoryName=Rush

here's a couple more suggestions:

http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=10&ss_categoryName=Verdict

and this:

http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=13&ss_categoryName=Diva

check out their website and go to "what fits" section for more options. but what ever you decide... it'll be definitely better than the stocks.

JRH...actually 17's aren't too big...you can even squeeze 18s if you really wanted. I got 17s and the only time I have a problem is when I got more than 3 people in the car...then the tire rubs slightly against the top of the inner fender wall, but its not that bad. I would suggest getting 17s also because it really makes the car look better...in my opinion at least....

you should also think about getting a gun metal or titanium color...those look tight on black cars!!

I would probley stick with the 16" cuss when you go to get tires for that car they will be soooo much cheaper than 17" I had a 93 grand prix and had 4 new tires put on (17") and that was 600 dollars for middle of the line tires. the better low profile tires would have ran me to about 1600 soooo u make the dissicion.

16s are cheaper and good if you race a little, peeps around here would recommend 14s or 15s for serious racers. 17s are more for looks imo... but damn it those 17s really sweet!

I think Im going with 16s. The problem is that the bigger the rim, the lower profile the tire. Around here, the pothole to riceboy ratio is around the same meaning DAMN, there are a lot of potholes. So with going even lower profile, I am really risking bending the rim. So 16s is what its going to be most likely.

Acidburn. The only rims I like by Konig are Tantrums and Monsoons. But I want to get away from the spoke look cause thats what I have already.

I'll tell you guys, I had everyone fooled except real hard core car fanatics because they were the only ones who picked up on it having 5 lugnuts when in real life it has 4. However, my friend has a 96 golf, and they are four lugnuts with the same 16" rims. So they can be ordered in 4 lugnut form. However, if worse comes to worse. I can go with AL Italia Spas (I believe thats what they are called...Im going from memory). CyberGreg has them on his Tiburon. Similar in looks.
