So what exactly are you offering?

You buy the parts from a salvage yard then ship them to someone else for a profit?

Why should someone else not just go to the salvage yard themselves to get the parts?

Even if you got a hook up by the time you ship the parts that will wash that out then by the time you make your cut it will probably cost everyone more then just getting the parts themself.

Especially since you are shipping from Canada.

Just currious why you don't list the parts you are offering here and the prices. It should use the same parts every time there fore it should cost the same.

thanks autobot, I hadn't realized he's in Canada, I just really emailed him so he can send me a list of what his suggested requirements were, and compare them to the rate I can get from KORE... I'm sorry but this is a hyundai forum to teach and have others learn and understand what you have done to your cars...

I'm just curious since I drive a manual car. Besides the gearbox and cuts related to pedal instalation, is it necessary to change anything on the engine/admission? The ECU mapping is exactly the same?

Well I am not trying to get all up in you sh!t but I am currious why you don't post some prices or atleast aproximate prices and why you don't post exactly what is needed.

Like Nikki said we are here to help each other out and if that is all you are doing then post what parts are needed and also some instructions on what you have to do.

I am not against you making a profit for your services but I am curious why you can not post aproximately what the parts will run.

I am guessing no more than $500 US for parts.

Also i understand that you are offering an ECU with the parts. Why? Like Zman said, isn't the ECU mapping exactly the same?

Just trying to gain some knoledge please help me out.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

I just got that info from Rob but he was not sure.

I am still wanting to know the price or why you don't want to give it on here.

Let me add more, A new ECU is not needed

The ECU and the TCM are two different devices with in the car, the TCM transmission contorl unit is what deals with the automatic and is a seperate device, the only thing is really does, is report to the ECU wether it is broken or not.

If anyone is intrested in thiis conversion please let me know!!
I spoke with my buddy and said this whole conversion comes complete.
We are talking about
Tranny with low milage
Cltuc, pressure plate bearing, clutch pedal, brake pedal, all clutch linkages, reservoir, and shifting linkages shifter plate, axles there are more parts but no many to list. You will also get Bolts ,nuts etc!!
An Ecu is needed but that will be also included in the price. It would be a good idea to keep because you have an extra ECU and you can get a chip or reprogram it without your car being out of comsssion.
THE price will be $800US-$850US plus shipping.
Autobot you mentioned that everything should cost about$400US?You cant even get a tranny with shipping for that price.Trannys usually go for $600 or more plus shipping.Call around some scrap yards and see.
Who ever is intrested let me know!!!
