With people screwing me around with getting manual parts for my swap, I emailed levelten to get prices for their automatic upgrade for the tranny ina 2000 hyundai tiburon.
Their response...
We have everything for that transmission that you have in that vehicle. We have a pts transmission system that will be able to handle up-to three times factory hp and give you more hp and torque to the wheels. It will also give you throttle oriented shifts rather than the factory lazy sluggish shifts.
We also have a pts torque converter upgrade that will get rid of all the lag and the hesitation off the start and take off anywhere from 1/2-1 second off et times.
pts transmission system $3264.
pts torque converter upgrade $498.
My god $4k !! I called them up, they said that all the price with labor and parts, they also stated that only they can do the valve body job, they cannot sell the parts envolved, further more, you have to do that before they will warranty the tranny for 600whp.
The torque converter you can buy as just a part. Good luck boys and girl racers
I got my self a manual tranny from a 2001 with 11k miles and all the goodies needed for a swap for $625 shipped
woohoo
no, they dont have any more, dont ask me please
