where the hell can i find one of these lips? the little 'guard' at the body of his front end. it protects the bottom of your kit. i don't know what to clal it i just call it a lip, they are usually made out of carbon fiber. i can't find it anywhere, any guesses?

well, for anyone interested i found out what it is called and what exactly it does (it doesn't do what i originally thought it did, but it's actual use kind of intrigues me, as well as the look). in europe it is referred to as a cupspoiler, over here you'd have better luck finding it as a wind splitter or air splitter. it is adapted from touring cars, and what it does is 'split' the air sending the air either up over the car or underneath the car helping stabalize the front at speed. it is mostly a cosmetic mod that is used on european cars and i guess it is hard to find a specific application for anything in the states other than a bmw, audi, or veedub. i guess i will have to get one custom fabricated and order a set of the stabalizers (the silver bars holding it up). another option would be to buy one for another car and make it fit. we will see, i think i might go the custom route. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Just browsing and saw your post,... Your in luck! I have access to these parts... The photo above is a white prelude and is a representative of the touring group that I belong to. His lower spliter is a little different than the others that are posted in that it is two pieces. If its the carbon fiber one piece you are looking for w/ the metal adjusters, call me and I'll get you the price. I have two in stock. They're universal and fit most Sport Compacts. I can e-mail photos if you like....
