roll the lip on the inside of your fenders, this should eliminate the digging into the tires. you should also get the alignment and camber kit to prevent from having to get new tires down the road.

the problem has nothing to do with your tire size. 205/40 is what you want for 17's, you should be just about the same diameter as stock with them. and plus anything bigger will increase the scraping, and through off your speedo.

woops forgot about this post lol, random is right take a bat or hammer (rubber). if you use a hammer put a piece of 2x4 or something up against the little lip and just bang the **** out of it <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

you don't have to do it but you should if you don't want your tires to get all ripped up. no car is made to be lowered, so when you alter the suspension you naturally will run into problems like hte fender wall and camber. adjusting the camber is neccessary unless you have the money to replace your tires every 3 months. it does seem like alot but it's part of the game that we play, each thing leads to another and everything works together as one.
