Hey All,
In your experiences, what seems to be the best muffler, or a real good one for a Hyundai 2.0L? Basically meaning, offers a nice amount of back pressure, while still being low restriction, and having a nice sound? TIA!

Well the most reputable import exhaust manufacturers are Apex'i, HKS, Greddy, and Tanabe among a couple of others.
The thing about Tanabe is that they only make cat-back exhaust systems for their platform vehicles. Hence, Tanabe does not make universal mufflers only. Furthermore, the cat-back exhausts that Tanabe does make are all ceramic coated. If you really wanted to put a Tanabe exhaust on your Tib, then you would either have to buy someone's used one and cut the muffler off the pipe or buy the new one from Tanabae and cut the muffler off. You probably would not be able to use the pre-cut pipe. Since it is ceramic-coated, if someone were to try and bend the pipe to fit your car, the ceramic coating would chip and/or break so it would be no good. I have seen several Tiburons with Tanabes though. They look nice.
5Zigen (also reputable) makes a Fireball series universal muffler that one of my friends has on his Accord.
HKS and APEX'i also make universal mufflers for imports.

why waste money on a muffler if you don't buy the entire cat-back??? you won't notice any performance increase with just the muffler alone, it's only as good as the pipes that are connected to it!!

Nor can I....

When I was into Scoobies, I really liked the sound of the Stromung mufflers. Anyone know of a similar sound for Tib? Kind of a deep growl... I guess I could probably just get a Stromung to work. Anything but 2nd gen stock
