Since I got my 2k2 Elantra I have been thinking about finding some
track here in the San Joaquin Valley of Ca. So, what are your best times
Elantra drivers? I know times are kinda scattered around various posts, but I don't have the patience to ferret em all out. If you have a
stock Elantra that would be ideal, otherwise please mention any performance mods...no, not stickers.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> Tibs with times too, (with the 2.0 especially). If this is compiled/listed elsewhere on H.P. I know some one with a Elantra 1800 motor in there accent and it does 16.5 I think!

I hope to get at least 16.5. If I got 16.2 that would get a big WhooooHoooo out of me. 15.9? Fantasy time. i have a 2k1 tibby 5speed. the only time i went to the track, my best time was [email protected] sorry, no time slip. but i now have I/H/E. and i beat an integra that <i>claims</i> he ran a 15.9 by about 2 car lenghts up to 90mph. so who knows!?

There is a track in Bakersfield, and one in Palmdale (north of LA).

I will be up in Fresno on the 28th, and we will be doing a drag night in early January. One weekend at Palmdale, and one at Carlsbad.

If you get a Bakersfield drag day going, I can make the run up there too.

BTW...what city do you live in?
