Okay, I have a 2000 tiburon, beta 1 engine. IT had a blown head gasket, sat for a year. the engine locked up. Well, my mom had an 01 elantra, with the beta 2 engine. her transmission went out, so I removed both engines, swapped all manifolds and sensors, flywheel..oil pan. I've heard it run twice since the swap, everytime I try to start it the car cranks over then kicks like he timing is too far advanced. If I take the plug wires off of cylinders 2 and 3 it doesn't kick anymore but will not start. the two times it did run I just kept turning it over hoping the kicking wouldn't break anything and then it would start and run fine..any help would be appreciated sorry for he long post.
