not sure if this would be the proper board for this question, but im wondering what these "beta engines" are, and how i might find out if my car has one.
also, im wondering what kind of mileages people are getting on the original stock clutches before it needs to be replaced (with a tight budget like mine, its good to plan ahead, 5 bucks a week is better than 1500 in one day down the road).

i guess knowing what car im referring to would help. i have a 2000 Accent GL (1.5L).

thanks
chris

You have the alfa engine and the life of your clutch all depends on how you drive.

If someone wants to charge yoou $1500 to replace a clutch then take the car somewhere else.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
