non-type s..we floored it on the Light..

i have a SRI and 2.25 exhaust with a thrush glasspack and a new N1 exhaust

i had the lead for about the first 2 gears but he steadily creeped up to me..

next thing we know..he's about half a car lenth and we're doing 3 digit speeds

dang..i really need headers..i wish someone sold me a used one for a beta II..

it sounded stock..i didn't hear the throaty intake,

had a 4 inch fart can and a ricer wing..

had it's stock 16's on though

even the non-s rsx's 160 HP K series motor has punch.

hay man something has to be wrong with your beta LC because
i raced my buddys rxs with my 1.6 and at 100km i had him by like 2 car...

maybe he was a rookie driver and was a nontype s.

Mine it seemed to be a decent enough driver and it was a non type-S. I didn't go past 60 though, at that point I was only half a car length ahead.

Yeah.. maybe he took off the S badge? Cause i will walk non-S's all day long, and an S will slowly creep. Thats a stock S. Remember its a Honda, chip it, intake, and full exhaust and thats a true 25-30 extra horsepower. And those are the cheap mods.

my car has gotten a new upgrade..

a polished oem style magnaflow muffler with a 4-inch tip and i can really feel the power now..like a hushed whoosh when i floor it and it's very quiet too in idle..power is very alive in the 5-6RPM..and my rough engine idle has improved...did 2 0-100KPH run's on a level road..chirp start from 1st.

launch with Intake, Exhaust and pulley and stage 3 clutch
1:0-100KPH-8.6
2:0-100KPH-8.2

i'm very content with headers..i can hit the 7 second realm

i'm looking forward to my next opponent..a mark 3 VR6 Jetta..<<friends car.
