do you have to get a new ecu and wiring harness in order to do a beta swap?

Which beta are you planning on swapping in? BetaII or BetaI? What year car and engine do you have now?

I have a 05 1.6l accent motor in it now. Not sure what beta motor i want to put in yet not to sure of the difference honestly. my plan is to open the block on the beta motor do some internals so it can handle between 12-15psi. and turbo it. now would it be best to swap the tranny too? or is that even possible?

Hey Mogo.

I think you need to have a read of the stickys in the Hybrid forum. They have heaps of information on the swaps and different setups people have gone.

BEWARE: You will not get any sleep for a few nights when you get the idea in your head. lol
