I plan on ordering the 58mm BBTB from SR tommorow and I want to know how much machine shops usally charge to match the intake manifold to the BBTB. Any help would be great. Thanks <img src=/images/forums/snitz/moon.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

The overbore TB is like $70
Port match was $70 also.
Holley makes a throttle plate for this application p.n. HOL9R350 Cost on Throttle plate is$27.50 retail.

Just a machine shop in my town.

Manitowoc Motor Machining.

They also do all sorts of head work...including, but not limited to...valve jobs, head porting, polishing, overboring, lightnening, balancing, decking, extrude honing, cryo treating, shot peening, etc. etc.

They send out the extrude hones, and cryo treatments, but are very good on prices.

Do you think if I sent him an already bored out TB, that he would bore out my IM too for $70 plus shipping? I am interested in having this done.

it is possible...maybe the cost of shipping would offset any savings though.

Yeah I have, and the only place I got a quote was like $600! The other guy was too booked up building race engines and stuff.
