Hey i have blown my Hyundai lantra se 1996 gearbox and i am in need of a new 1. I live in adelaide SA. Can any 1 help me with finding a new gearbox. In the car now is a blown auto.

i think the hyundai dealers charge around the $1600 mark for a new manual box.. so auto add a bit on top of that uzzled:

Try about $2500 for a brand newy, try any Hundai wreckers - less than $600, they should give it either a 3 or 6 month waranty, this is based on sydney wreckers prices

Could have sworn the guy that bought my old car had his mechanic order one in for $1600ish.. could have been trade price though :ermm:

Hey cheers for the help, i was quoted 1200 to rebuild me auto and 1400 for a second hand auto installed.
are these proces any good and can i get them any cheaper.
