thanks random first for telling me about alpine.
I will be buying Alpine Turbo Kit for $1900 plus shipping at the low introductory price. The Alpine officials said the price will Jump to mid $2500's by august. If you want, get them now!. of course i am not paying this all in one. I will pay weekly until 1900 mark is reached plus shipping then They'll send me the kit. It's good cuz I don't have to pay extra money when August arrives.
I e-mailed them about bulk orders but I don't know, we might be able to get slight discounts if we get lots of people buying.
please post it on here and I will talk to the people at Alpine

my final price is $2175 without blow off valve. they said it's not available in South Africa. I am only 17 and obviously do not have the money in hand but I agree to send payment everyweek until the $2175 mark is reached and then they'll send me the turbo kit.
I can't wait

Actually, they make them for the Beta Engine. They will work with any BETA. In fact, the new 2001 Elantra with it's MAP sensor would probably work a hell of a lot better than my original BETA engine with MAF sensor.

BTW...Right now, they are considering and Accent Supercharger/Turbocharger. They just need a guinnia pig to come up with $1900 and give them their car for a week or two.

cougart Only if you really know what you are doing, and have all the necessary tools/equipment to remove the head to install the headspacer gasket. There is a lot of "fabrication" and part "adjustment" that needs to be done to get everything to fit right...at least that's the way it looks on my kit.

Skillspeed is doing one within the next 30 days (he just got the kit). He was quoted between $2000 and $1500 for the install and tuning.

i cant wait

btw, im doing much of the install myself with a little help from my friend who has a turbo civic, another with a bi-turbo v6 Gran national with 1000hp.

We'll be selling a more complete turbo kit here on the site in the next month or so.

It will come with a T3 turbine, a 4-puck clutch, a BOV, a pre-programmed ECU (mapped for the turbo on a stock Beta) a very large intercooler and a few other goodies for about the same price as Alpine's kit.
