Yep they do, hve (www.hve.com.au) have a cai for the auto accent. In order to install the air cold air intake, they cut out a section of the factory airbox. With the right tools (such as an air saw, or Dremel grinder) this is not too hard. It can also be done using a small hole saw, hacksaw blade, and a file, but it will take you a while. Once the hole has been cut, they then drill a few small holes to secure the cold air intake to the air box, and line the join with Sikaflex before joining and riveting the two together.

Yup, I believe HVe makes the only CAI compatible with an auto Accent.

good luck making one for an auto. i've been trying on my girl's 1.5 2k. there is no possible way to fit a filter in there unless it is a crappy short ram. i'm almost done with the one i'm trying now. it consists of a 2.5 replacement pipe from the tb to the maf to take out the one resonator and cut down restriction. then i still used the stock box with a [email protected] pannel filter, then from the box i'm feeding a 3inch pipe down behind the front grill this is the best i can think of. so when i get pics i will post them to show all.

its my girl's car
