I have been doing a web research on CAI (my next mod) and I found that at least in HP the KORE CAI is prefered. I haven't found any picture of it, anybody has it. How does it work AND look? Also, I've read that the WeaponR are not recomended (by the majority I mean, IMO the looks are not the best). If you have pictures of CAI, either Kore or any other including custom made, it would be great to compare. TIA.

Great to see the Pics, I think AOS should sound really great because the cone is not isolated, so you hear the intake very good. I still haven't seen the KORE CAI in pictures (como on Autobot <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>). I have some pictures... but how the **** do you post 'em? <img src=/images/forums/snitz/angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> <img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/mad.gif width=16 height=16 border=0> There is no way, I just can't post them.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cry.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>

Come on guys, please post a picture of a KORE CAI, I haven't seen one yet (I can't open the www from CyberGreg, they have closed some pages here at my office due to virus infection risk they say) and I want to decide between the KORE and AOS CAI.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/uhh.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> Besides, I was already 49 posts and I wanted to reach 50 posts <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0>

Thanks KayJai<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
Now let me see if I got it right: Both versions I and II are 3" for the 5 speed, version I does not have the chance to have an AEM, but you can order version II WITHOUT an AEM valve, and if you later want to install one you will be able to? Am I right? TIA guys. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Correct me if I'm wrong but according to aem's site the bypass valve is supposed to be installed along the upper 'horizontal' section near the mafs to be most effective. The MHP cai has it installed along the vertical section.

yeah thats what i was told initially but then i called them about something else and talked to the owner and a friend of mine that runs AEM and they said it didnt matter as long as the valve wasnt at the end of the intake. that it was a way to try to get people to place the valve closer to the engine than the filter end of the intake. i talked to their tech guys and OK'd everything before we placed them there..I am not sure they work that great anyway after some stories I heard at SEMA show this year on other cars such as Honda and others......

This is the most clarifying post on the Web about CAI. Thanks KORE and HP.com members. This is an example of customer service and community reaction for everybody. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Hey all- first, what does the AEM bypass valve do? Heard of that. Second, is either 3" or 2.5" CAI piping yield much of a difference? Is one better to use than the other? TIA <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
