has anyone tried the intake cam off the new 2.0L engine (2001 elantra) in to the old 2.0L (99-00 elantra & 97-01 Tibs)
the 1.8L has a cam height of 44.449mm(1.7499in)
the old 2.0L has a cam height of 44.049mm (1.734in)
the new 2.0L has a cam height of 44.820mm (1.7646in)
as you can see the new 2.0L cam has a higher lift!

just buy high performane cams.there only $300, I'm sure thats less than what t he dealer will charge for there cams.

Actually I went up there today and it's right around $300 for both...I think that's goin in next.

Where did you get the cams from??????

I got the cams from HDK autosports. prepare to be paitiant with the shipping time, it's longer than they say. more like 3 weeks than 2 weeks.

That's still not bad, I just want to know how long they will last...I want to know the quality of them.
