i have a 91 mitsubishi eclipse turbo 4 wheel-drive and a 97 Hyunadai Tiburon. I was wondering if any one knows if it would be possible to adapt the turbo on the Mitshu to my Tib. I am askin this because the eclipse was totalled last month in a rearender (god i hate tailgaters!!). oh and please no Mitsu bashin cuz if my Eclipse was workin it would tear you apart. enough of that.... also i would like to know if this is possible what other things would i need to install the turbo.. one last thing if its not possible, from what other car can i take the turbo from and adapt it to my Tib???

thanks!!!

Anything is possible if you spend enough money on it!

As long as all the parts are free, it should be doable. How much work can you do yourself?

The motor mounts would need to be fabricated

From the mitsu you would need
Engine
Tranny
Half-shafts
ECU

You would need a good Mitsu Service Manual and a Hyundai Service manual to splice the remaining hyundai sensors and wiring into the Mitsu ECU.

You would have to closely examine the front suspension, as I'm not too sure how the Hyundai Suspension would mount up the Mitsu half-shafts and vice versa. Ditto on the front brakes.

It's a Challenge. R You going to take it?

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.

You can adapt the TDO5 to your Tibby but you need to have a custom manifold made and of coruse you need to have custom I/C piping and other various things.

You have anymore questions just post them up and I'll help you the best I can.

If I were you, I'd maybe use the TD05, and sell the manifold and other parts (possibly the engine too??) to pay for the custom stuff you'd need for the Tib.

Get a good manifold from Onpol down if Puerto Rico or something with the extra $$$.
