So a BETA has been running a bit rich for the past 2 months, whats a good way to clean out those carbon deposits? With actually taking the engine out :)

anyone have some clues?

err,, wihtout taking it out

Use a can of seafoam, I think that's how it's spelled. Anyway you can get it at the parts store. You dump it in were you put your oil in and let the car run for 10 min then rev it up a couple of times. It should smoke a lot, but thats a good thing, it's just all the carbon and deposites buring up. I've used it a lot in the past and it's a good product <img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> Hope this helps ya out

Is he gonna dump that one in the crank case or the fuel tank?

I know you can use the product in both but if it is due to the car running rich don't you thin it should be used as a fuel additive?
