I don't really understand why but I keep getting a CEL when I have my amp and sub hooked up, its P0133 bank 1 sensor 1 low circuit voltage (I have replaced the sensor) I drove with no sub and amp for 3 weeks and it was fine. 10 min after hooking it up it came back. Then I changed batteries put a new one in, and it was fine for a long time, now it seems like its coming back. It seemed to happen most when my old battery was starting to not hold a charge so well anymore.

What could this be? Alternator not putting out enough juice?
Its a 760 Watt Pioneer and a 10 MTX Thunder 6000

I would think the alternator could handle that amp but it sounds like it isn't. I would suggest getting a voltage guage or meter or something and drive around with it in the car for a couple days and see if your voltage drops a lot. If you just want a fix I would get a high output alternator or a capacitor. What guage wire do you have ruuning to your amp?
