I took it off tonight (boy that was a bitch) and painted it white with the plastikote vinyl dye.
It looks very clean and i didt have my camera, since i was at my g/fs donig it, so no pics =(
only a pic of the finished product will be available. BTW the removal of the facia plate is VERY simple, but a bitch if you dont have the right tool. If you want it easy, go buy a power screwdriver attachment that is like a screwdriver, but at an angle.
It is an essential tool, it also helps in unscrewing speakers on the rear deck, since you cant use an upright screwdriver. Andin any tight spaces you need a screwdriver and you can only get at it with a 90 degree angle. Be sure to buy one with interchangeable bits (DUH!)<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
