[99_Accent_GL]

I want to change the battery cables in my 99 accent. How hard is this generally to do? i have done some repairs to this vehicle before, but this would be the first time for this. I cant really seem to find any info online on how to do it.

It depends how many and which ones you do, I don't think they are that hard just take some time cause I like to run the wires nice and pretty. But I do work with cars a lot and do lots of electrical work with cars and at work. Just make sure none of the wores you run are in the way of moving parts.

Make sure the cables are free from the elements. SOLDER everything, and HEAT SHRINK all connectors. I did that in my Pony, and trust me, it makes a huge difference rather than just electrical taping it all together.

What kind of terminals are you using? is it the screw in type?

In any case, dont forget to put petroleum jelly on the terminals.
