Well, not so much murder, as short rpm range.

We destroy the b16 up to our redline.

I saw this post, and I was like huh, and I went to the site to see how close and truthful these dynos are, they only have 1 tiburon on file and it's a 1997 and I'm guessing 5-speed, here's the info from the one I did, both stock:

and the numbers:

1997 HYUNDAI
Tiburon Stock 121HP 123TQ

1999 HONDA
Civic SI 1.6L DOHC (VTEC) Stock 137HP 98TQ

and like skierd said, we have them on torque, and if they didn't have that redline, then damnnnnnn and the VTEC of course

P.S. this is Yuri

I posted a dyno of a 2000 Tib with intake and cat back vs. a Celica GTS with the same mods a year ago...we killed it all the way till their cam kicked (HP and torque) in, then it was all them.

As I recall, the 1.6 DOHC wasn't available in the Accent till 2001, right? If so, then that Accent dyno run (72 hp, 81 lb-ft) would apply to all 95-99 Accents with the SOHC engine, right?

I have heard that cams for the Tib start to pull at 3500 rpm,.. and go all the way top the redline. that is an area that would even out the palying field between honda and Tib
