Wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be

Kinda pissed though, the hyperwhite bulbs listed for the 2000-2002 accent are nice and everything...on my SHELF!

Looks like the company who makes these bulbs assumed the headlight assembly had not changed since the prior year. Silly companies...

Hey!

Man am I glad I couldn't sleep last night either! I was originally going to wait until morning to put the headlights back in. Decided to put them back last night because I just had to see what they looked like on my ride! Imagine if I had woke up this morning and the front of my car was covered in snow and missing headlights Glad I follow my instincts

AeroSpeed Intake. Yes it will fit on a 98, I have several friends who had one in their 95-99 models. You have afew differences with your ride though compared to mine. Your 98 has two things of note, a sensor on the back of the air box and a...ummm...thing connected to your intake hose just before the throttly body(I have no clue to this day what that thing is). You would have two options. One : Start after the...thing...and put your chrome pipe and filter or, Two : Start after the...thing...and simply connect your filter. pussykatt lives near me and I have seen his 98's intake. He went with the second option and it looks pretty good to IMO.

My setup cost me 119.00 which was the filter, pipe, filter/pipe connector, pipe/throttlwbody connector, and hose for the connection to your engine itself. It comes in about 7 different colors, mines blue .

So...you answers are...Yes it fits on a 98, No its a fairly easy mod(took about 10 minutes), It cost 119.00

Sleep well

98accentGS: the "thing" has paige called it is your MAF sensor.... what i did was went to the junk yard and picked up one out of an elantra, its just as wide as that chrome civic intake tube, and shoved a filter on the end. you can also put a Throttle Body off an Elantra (or tib) on your accent. You do need to do some modifactions to the TB though.

Hey pussykatt, been afew days

How's it going?

jackhurdle : Assuming your refering to the orange lense if you look through the hole for your orange bulb you will notice that the chrome backing makes a "dip". I put a screw driver on the orange piece, took my hammer and one swift smack later the lense broke down the middle. Then you use your finger or the screw driver if your brave and push the pieces out so they float around in the unit. break them up with pliers and your good to go :)
