A couple of days ago, that morning, the clutch in my car slowly stopped working, until eventually the pedal did absolutely nothing and it was extremely hard to shift. When I was looking at the pedal under that dashboard, I noticed some important looking fluid leaking out of the hole where the rod goes into the firewall from the pedal.
A guy at auto parts store said the hydraulic clutch system was probably bad.
When I got it into gear, it didn't feel like the clutch was slipping, so I hope that is it.
I'm going to (carefully) see if I can tear into it through this week and look at it.
If anyone has tips or warnings or comments, please let me know. I'd like to fix it myself, but am not extremely confident. Thanks.
