I just bought a Bomb series muffler on Ebay. I just wanted some opinions on this brand. I have heard that adding an aftermarket muffler can sometimes reduce low end tourque....Also, is the Bomb exhaust considered a "catback"????<img src=/images/forums/snitz/eek.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Yeah it will hinder performance if its a cheap ass non name brand muffler. Go with borla or zigen or magnaflow even, they make nice exhaust, Bomb muffler's are just loud. Catback is mandrel bent piping made to a desired size to replace your mid pipe then connects to your desired muffler.

On the Tiburon, a new muffler will never reduce your HP UNLESS it is more restrictive the the stock muffler. Read more here
