Which air filter would you guys recommend for a cold air intake. I've heard good things about AEM, but I've never heard anything about CP Performance, the CP filter is 1/2 the price of the AEM, any comments would be helpful.

Mike, in case it hasn't already happened...welcome. Okay, a number of us, me included, have been waiting anxiously for the CAI from
KORE for the '01/'02 Elantra. I believe it will be an excellent product. Hummmphh, however, I was told a few months ago that it was coming "real soon" and it still isn't here. So, it could be a while, and no one from KORE has been able to give me a time frame. Injen is working on one
for the Elantra, but they tell me it should be ready mid-year. I believe that product will also be of high quality. I don't know anything about CP. The other two are real CAIs...drawing air from the fenderwell. I'll probably buy the KORE unless the Injen or other comparable CAI is available first. There have been a lot of posts on the subject of CAI...try a search if you want more comments or info.

Either one should be good, but I would expect AEM to join the fray as well. They are already in the process of designing one for the Tiburon, and with the Elantra sales so strong, it would in their best interests to make one for the Elantra GLS/GT as well.
