Well I got my cps sensor today, ordered it for 77 bucks from autozone, and replaced my old one, just as my car was starting to stall out as I pulled into the driveway, then I had to push it up the rest of the way, wouldn't start again now. I replaced the sensor, took about a hour, had to remove a few parts to get at the sensor, and viola, it went in and then I turned the car over... turned the car over..... well it didden't turn over. no CEL's nothin. My scantool told me it was the cps so thats what I did, replace it. Guess it wasn't that part, so I have to wait to get my ignition coil, hopefully in a day or two. Hope my car will start tomorrow morn for work, the coil is shot I believe, I hope, lets see, 77.99 + 67.99 + 43.99 .... aw hell its a bit of change I just hope one of the pieces is the right one and that my car runs again.
Sorry to rant..

Damn man. Have you checked the coil for spark? I imagine you have since you're replacing it.

Awesome! The bolt hole on the sensor broke off from the sensor! Great, now I have to order another one. I only put it on finger tight, but thanks to my dealership last year, I had this very same part replaced again, because my car was very difficult to start. The first sensor was made out of metal, and had a plastic bushing on the end of it, the new sensors have a o-ring on it and a lipped piece of plastic at the end of the sensor which acts as the old skool bushing. Well... the dealership forgot to remove the plastic bushing, and put the new plastic sensor in there and bolted it down, you can see where the sensor bolt tab is bent slightly and they forced the sensor in there. When I bolted the new sensor in, it not only bent it snapped, I just diddent see it cause it was dark out when I finished. So this morning I removed the plastic piece, put the old sensor in, ordered a new one, and arrived 2hrs late for work :) Thank you Hampton Hyundai!

Damn man. You're having some crappy luck lately with your car. So when do you get the new ignition coil and the new CPS?
