You are better off with normal good quality rotors
I do hardcore racing and hangout with hardcore racers. We all use OEM discs or brembo blanksOriginally posted by atrimble_2001

Too tell you the truth unless your doing hardcore racing, you wont notice the small gain in braking that cross drilled or slotted rotors will give you, but they do look cool so hey why not.

Ive gone through 2 sets of pads on my OEM rotors from the factory and they are still good. Although Ill be changing them soon.Originally posted by WanValdez

Well my OEM rotors are already warped so I gotta do something. Maybe I'll try these out with some nice pads. Thanks for the input

Green pads are total junk. They "melted" on me. Alot of people I know dont use braided lines only because they hardly make a difference worth while. My friend who has been racing for 15 years still uses OE rubber lines on his type rOriginally posted by ftwvampftw

Tire choice are the most important thing when talking about stopping. So stickier tires will help you the most. Than pads w/ better bite (like the green brake pads). Than either you can go w/ rotors and or braided lines. Than you'll be doing some nice stopping.

i will only use braided lines ive had a stock rummer one go on me b4 while driving my talon and your break peddel going to the floor stopping at a red light is a really bad feeling lolOriginally posted by bh206

braided lines make a very good difference.

Try having that happen going 50 and you try to slow down to make a 15 MPH turn. I fliped my Mustang because the brake system was over 33 years old.Originally posted by dsmdan

Braided brake lines are just rubber or plastic lines reinforced with a braided stainless-steel and teflon sleeve, which prevents the rubber line inside from expanding under pressure. They don't change the ultimate line pressure in the brake system, so peak braking torque does not change. What does change is the transient brake response, because pedal effort will instantaneously tranlate to line pressure instead of ballooing the brake lines. It is this quicker response that will take a couple of feet off of high speed stops.
Also EBC green stuff is very abrasive it seems.. so I wouldnt use them on your 'flashy show rotors'. Anywho... So find what ever pads you can pick up w/ more bite like Axxis I think the other brand is.. Read reviews and find what you believe you can trust.. as anything else in life

I was talking to the other people who were interested in upgrading their braking systems. To do their homework before just throwing **** on their car.Originally posted by GregsterGSi
