If, by press-bent you mean crush bent, save your money a little longer for mandrel-bent corners. Any shop can buy them (as most don't have a mandrel-bender), and weld them together like a puzzle with straight sections to make you a custom cat-back. If you're already looking at mandrel-bent corners, I'd stick with 2.25", as 2.5 just has too much internal volume to build backpressure, and you'll most likely lose low-end, and might not gain top-end at all.
