oh that... it had to go... the intercooler was to big, and the lip was in the way.

new bumper to come soon, but i would rather work on the turbo at the moment. If i get hassled by cops though, then i will get the bar first.

Thanks for the nice compliments!.

The intercooler actually goes all the way up to the height of the top of the licence plate.

Here in australia, and i would imagine all over the world, it's fashionable to drive around with even no bar on showing the intercooler. but of course, it isn't legal. My intercooler doesn't extend past the front of the bar, or below the lowest point of the car. The car is lower than the 10cm legal ride height for street cars, but if i am pulled over, i can easily have the car above 10cm as my suspension is adjustable ride height =P even still, there will always be cops that will have a problem with it. I will probably get the bar soon, which will be about $700 australian fitted, painted and installed.

I took the side skirts from a car for sale here in Australia called the Holden Commodore. it is from the VR series of commodores HSV (holden special vehicles) range of class. When looking for mods for your car, look to other avenues for options, look at the design of your car, and compare it to other cars and see if something from that car will fit. I"m currently looking still into a GTR skyline type front bar for my car, as both cars have a flat top along the bumper for example.

Oh really? Wow - was it difficult to do? I thought the Commodore was I lot larger car...

You find it's really expensive to do that? I mean - so that it looks clean (the pieces obviously aren't meant for the car). You seemed to have pulled it off nicely with the side skirts (thought they looked familiar).

Hope someday my car will have the performance of your's.... I'd love to kick some cocky Mustang/Camaro at some lights. Or a Civic who still thinks that Hyundai = crap.

It was pretty easy, the commodore here is only slightly longer than the sonata, but not much. the side skirts are the same length though. Thanks for the compliments, my next post will be when i have my Cusco Oil catch can installed, probably some time early January. In February i intend to install the smaller exhaust housing, and i will then head to the track for my final runs for which I hope to hit 12's, and then retire my car
