Hi guys, here's some pictures of my new intercooler installed yesterday. Mid range feels a lot better with the new intercooler (as opposed to the stock Toyota Supra Intercooler i was using previously.

The rest can be seen on my site. I would now like to look at a new bumper to cover the front. I'm looking at an R33 GTR style, or 200sx S14 Edge style. Any other suggestions?

Did you have to cut out the whole front of your bumper?

That kinda kills the sleeper look .

It looks good though.

who cares about the sleeper look when you have an intercooler all snug up in the front of your car screaming "i'm turbo look at me go pshhhhhhhh"

I prefer the "come get some" look. I had a supra intercooler painted black and tucked in behind the bar previously, which no one ever seemed to notice. Driving around the last two days i've noticed lots of people staring at it. The sleeper look was good (for two years), but using this intercooler will increase air flow and power. The dimensions are (End Tank to End Tank 87cm / Core to Core 60cm / Height 31cm / Depth 7cm / Inlet-outlet 6cm)

Wow, i was over at ur site, and thats awsome! mad props, i wish i could do an engine swap (no, i wish i could swap suspension, brakes...well alot of things lol) but anyway, i think thats cool, and the car really looks nice

i didn't read ALL of ur site yet, but i was just curious about something. When i was looking at cars, i was seriosuly considering this talon that was for sale. although it was a little too ragged out for me, i did do alot of research on DSM's. there is SO MUCH info and such a great wealth of knowledge and consumer-developed resources for these cars! its very im pressive. But theres one thing i was reading about that bothered me... about the 'Crankwalk' problem that many 2g DSM's with ur engine and tranny experience (the turbo'd ones). The thing is..the crank isn't fitted well into the bearing ..or whatever.. sorry and it travels around too much in alot of the cars..and this will eventually damage the crank or tranny. They came out with special bearings to replace in each car that was achined at differnt specs from each manufacuring location..but it still didn't seem to help much. This really scared me with these cars! ..I guess what im wondering is..if u have the stock block and tranny, do you think you could experience this/ have you, or hae u even heard of it? i guess its just something to be aware of. Not that im trying to scare you just wondering

You can do an engine swap

The 2.0 beta from a tib will run you about $1000+shipping for engine, trany, and ECU.
The labor should run you aroun $500.

anybody run a quater mile in a hybrid accent yet? (if it hits 14's i'd swap in a heartbeat exluding the matter of funding!)

I talked to the guys at Macintyre and they have 2 Accents one has the engine swap with turbo and is running 11s the other has the the stock engine and is running 12s.

Now these #s are claimed and I have not seen time slips but hitting 14 in an Accent with the 2.0 beta is totally possible and that is without turbo

NO WAYYYYYYYY! thats absolutely awsome. ...i find it kinda... unblieveable tho, 14 seems what i would think it'd be..just as a rough guess with no real experience. 12 STOCK..good lord that really makes me want a swap so bad! im sure thats stock engine but catback exhaust, and intake.. id wanna think thats with bbtb and headers too..thats so fast! what does a tibby run stock?
