$400 is a rip off unless you don't have good credit and have like 19% interest :)

Dude how old are you? The guy just might not respect you and think he can take you for a ride since he's a big 'ol 'badass' salesman. I don't work in cars but I work with salesmen types and they're assholes, I want out of my job. Definately look into the loan term, but if you have any hookups through family or anything into a credit union or any kind of a similar bank, they'll probably have interest rates that'll blow anything the dealership offers out of the water. Through my CU I can get 7.25 on any car 2000-2001, and 8.2 on anything older, and those are terms up to 60 months. I'm sure there's even better deals out there so if you can, screw the dealership financing offers.

well, it aint unlikely to pay $400 i know this guy here but then again he's only like 18, 19. Me I pay $300, go on line and try to see if you can get a deal on line. They have me @ 12% wich is a little high but my credit is not that stable and if any one is getting charged anything over 18% that's the most you can get charged anything over that you could have a law suit in your hand.

went to nationwide first...they said low to mid 4's,so i went to thompson hyundai.the reason it's so high is i'm trading in a car that isn't paid off.i called him this morning to get a breakdown, and well, to basicly say he's nuts.if i can either sell my car or come up with 2 grand by next week...i'll drive a new tiburon!
