I had side skirts installed on my car during the summer. Now my passanger door doesn't open. The dealer says they can't cover it under the warranty because i put the skirts. The body shop where i had them installed, says the dealer is ****ing with me because they don't want to pay.

Now, who do I believe and how do I prove it.

If installing the side skirts cause the door to screw up then no they can not.
But there is no way in hell it could cause that.
Fight it.

how are the skirts in the way of the door? lol that is bs unless you duct taped the skirts across the side of the car.

The dealer is BSing you. Which is useless for them.

Explain to them that in order to now honor your warranty they, by law, have to prove to you that the side skirt interferes with the door. Also, remind them that Hyundai Motor America pays them for warranty work anyway, so what's the big deal?

I knew they were playing me, cause the skirts don't even touch the doors.

I think they're taking advantage of me cause I'm 19 years old & they think I'm just some dump kid.

I'm planning to send an e-mail to Hyundai Canada & complain. I'm also going to visit another dealer & see what they say.
