Well i'm going to add my sadness to the list of recent woes. I was heading to my dealer Friday when i past a county deputy. Even though i was bieng paSSed by another car the deputy opted to stop the tuner!! Well he clocked me doin 89 in a 70 mph zone. I explained that my gauges read 80 abd i knew i was speeding but my new rims and tires must have thrown off the calibration zero ( can i fix that???????) and he was understanding so he dropped it to 84. So as a custom tuner i've been stopped once and gotten 1 citation-i'm batting 100. Long story short i get to put another 300 dollars into my ride just not the way i intended. Hey VAMP you think about putting a DIY mesh grill into the bottom of the bumper...ive been kicking the idea around but it will be a lil more involved that the other. On another note my DIY painted tail lights look good too ill post picks soon.:??:

i put a mesh grill behind my bumber and it looks pretty good, i still need to cut out the front of the bumber to make it better tho

tuner or not, you were going 19mph over the speedlimit.
[body]tuner or not, you were going 19mph over the speedlimit.

So what. I'm still not convinced that speeding on the highway should be a crime. It's just behavior that control freaks don't like and pigs enforce to further steal more money from citizens.
If you cause damage to someone while driving 10/100 mph you should be responsible for that damage, but trying to control that behavior is like trying to stop people from (insert body function here).
Here's a good article on the subject if you care

Plus thre was someone obviously going faster than you...why not them?
the answer: Tuner
19 over niiiiiice try 22 over very expensive:devious:
I have to go to court tommorow for a ticket for 77/55. It really sucks because it is in the worst city around here to get tickets in= Virginia Beach :dead: I have a good lawyer tho. I think he is going to post date it for a later time, so i can go get my speedometer calibrated. I put larger tires on my accent, so it might be alittle off :ermm:
Yeah BH i know i was......but yeah i was thinking about just cutting the bottom away some and placing some mesh behind it....first person to get around to it make sure we get some pics...ok how about the gauges needed to be recalibrated? that a big deal or can a local shop fix me up?
