Just wondering if anyone has tried etc?

Curious as we had found great gains with the 1.8L's BETA on the 2.0L's BETA.

Wouldn't work.

The 2.5L is SOHC, the 2.7L is DOHC.

KnOcKeR - hehehe dope I knew I forgot a word somewhere in there <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Thats too bad about the CAMS. Looks like we will have to wait for them to be produced then. No cheap alternative <img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

What about the 3.0L V6, that is a DOHC Delta isn't it?

The 3.0L V6 is from the Mitsu/Hyundai Sigma family, as is the 3.5L V6.

Unfortunately I don't see there being any cheapy power adders like the 1.8L cam for the 2.7L Delta. Hell, the exhaust manifolds don't even line up.

From what I've heard, the 2.7L Delta is a whole new beast, similar to the differences between the 1.5L and 1.6L Alpha. That's why I'm wondering how strong the motor really is (not what the Koreans know about the 2.5L), as I'm hoping they've changed it a bit since the 2.5L.
