I am trying to detach the gearbox which is manual from the engine but no use. We have loosen all possible nuts and bolts from the engine and gearbox and still the engine is still attached to their gearbox.


any one can help?

it is a Hyundai 2004 Coupe with V6 manual gear box. its a bit detached but not completely i mean there is something stuck in the clutch. Have removed almost everything, shafts, bottom column...

If it's like the I4, you have to undo the arm that the slave cylinder pushes on. The slave cylinder being connected to that arm prevents the throw out fork (what the arm turns) from slipping out of the throw out bearing. You will NOT get it separated without freeing up the throwout fork.
