Hello everyone...great forum. I just got back from the auto show, and the most popular car there was Ford GT40....but the second most ppupolar car was 2003 Tiburon. It was gorgeous. Let me tell you a little about it. the GT has 2.7L 181hp, 17 alloy wheel with michelin, sport tuned suspension leather, spoiler premium 360-watt infinity sound system. Not bad, but the interior is sweet. The speedometer reminds me of BMW, its red, and sophisticated looking, no more skipping numbers from 0 to 20 to 40 and so on, and the leather bucket seats are great, with lot of lateral support. But that was nothing compared to what was next to it. They had a red Tib Gt with Red recaro bucket seats, rolled cage, gigantic dual exhaust, about 3.5inch tips, it was sweet. I loved it so much, I'm going to sell my 98 Grand Prix GTP that I got 2 weeks ago to buy the new Tiburon. I will post pictures soon.

I went to that show last week. Tell ya the truth I was disappointed in the new Tiburon. Performance wise it is great but it lacks shape and the interior on the base model ( not the red one) is plain ugly compared to the older models, its not sporty enough. I am glad I didn't wait until the new model and bought the 2001.

The best part about the 2003 Tiburons is the 6-speed tran. Yet I wasn't to impressed when I read that it had a 0-60 time of 8.2 seconds.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/disapprove.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

well i am thinking that......8.2 has to be wrong........ maybe for the 4 cyl it might be right..... what is the current tib's 0-60 if this one is faster and it is the 4 cyl then it must have one hell of a set of gears.........
