You have to run it on a laptop from what I see there. 386 PC or better. I know how to wire those sort of things up, But thats a good question where can you put the laptop and what do you do with yout old insterment panel. I mean It looks bad ass. Bad computer parts like laptops and wire up are kinda delicate.

I have an Idea, I will take my daughters laptop to try it... The older lap tops have small screens..You can mount it in front of the ash tray ...with a bracket...Lets meet to discuss this..I will buy lunch/Breakfast at the GoldRush..
One other thing ,I did notice ....that the Hyundai girls have big bumpbers..

lantra, i've got alot of old computers sitting around, and i was just going to get a small a lcd car display form crutchfield, hook it up to a tv tuner card, then stick the lcd panel infront of where the dash normally is (with a custom made housing). then, install the computer in the back of the car, keyboard in the glovebox (acer wireless keybored with built in trackball), and i would hook it up to a power inverter. if i really wanted to be cool, i could remove the sterio, and use a PC audio system... put a dvd player in.... and i could even play games in the car!

You got it boss. I'll let you know when I get a day off. And yes, they do have big bumpbers! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Katt. That sounds like a great idea. remember how much your alternator can take though, the more electral stuff you hook up to your ride, the more the alternator must work. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

sorry it took me so long to reply... Okay, I'm going to take the alternator to get Rewound next tuesday. Once you get the computer setup to your car then you can probably get a computer program (or make it, depending on how good you are at programming<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>). you can probably also create/have made: turbo timers, boost controllers, 1/4 mile times, just about anything you want... its a computer the possibilitys are endless!!!!! the only issue i can see is if its for a racecar, then the weight. but even then, its not that much. if your gonna use a desktop goto http://www.ati.com/na/pages/products/pc/tv_wonder_ve/index.html for the tv tuner card to hookup to your comp so you can hook a small LCD display to it. Then goto http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-stPb7TgVsfP/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=39200&I=020VMA6491&o=M&a=0 for the small lcd panel. now, i'm not sure if this setup is street legal, but who cares? its badass!
