Not me. I'll stick with normal radio that doesn't cost $10 a month. I got enough expenses.

I heard something on the radio the other day about that, but I caught the tail end of it. I was wondering what it was all about. What exactly is it?

Its like DMX (Digital Music express) that you can get in your house where your stereo hooks up to your cable box and can here crystal clear music. In this case its, where you get a special radio that can tune into stations that are commercial free and have a particular type of music (rock, rap, jazz, etc.) but as random said, it costs some money per month. Waste of money, IMO. I like buring CDs with a nice mix of music. Cheaper and I like what I hear all the time. I would still be statioin surfing with that anyway. lol.

My Kenwood Z828 deck is Sirius "ready", but I don't listen to the radio enough, and most of my trips are short and I play CDs. On longer trips MP3 CDs. Although Minneapolis radio sucks bigtime, and satellite would be a nice alternative.

I want to get it but don't have the money at this point. I don't bother too much with cd's due to the fuss of having to change it so often. Receivers or descramblers or whatever they're calling them cost about 300 bucks for the FM Modulator style (broadcasts to a normal FM station that you tune into), the direct connection kind are cool, but you need an XM Ready head unit which is running about 300 bucks too! So either way you're going to spend a bit in your primary investment. After that it's 10 bucks a month. But there are over 100 stations and ahhh just go to the website.

I agree with Random on this subject. My radio plays fine, no need for more expenses...
