Ok, I have a 93 Scoupe nonturbo and this is what I'm thinking of doing. I want to put a Scoupe turbo engine in there and the turbo ECU. Will the turbo engine line up with the non turbo supports?

Thanks!

Nope.

You're talking about putting a Hyundai engine where a Mitsubishi engine originally sat. If you look at the two engines side by side, the first thing you'll notice is they sit on opposite sides of the car.

They are actually two COMPLETLY different engines. The non-turbo S-Coupe motor being like the 1.5L Mitsubishi engine in the 90-94 Excel, while the Turbo S-Coupe motor (G4EKT) is in the same family as the 1.5L SOHC in the 95+ Accents.

You'd be best off trying to find a Mitsubishi motor (or Turbo Dodge Colt) and swapping that in.

Would the Mitsubishi engine or the dodge colt turbo engine line up with the original engine supports and would I have to change the transmission also or would it fit the original tranny? Also, what about the ECU? Put the Mitsu ECU???

You guys ROCK!!!
Thanks!
