Hello all,

I usually have a good laugh reading your stories about wasting Honda's, now I can write one in too.

On my way home from work last night, in a 40mph limit, I came along a Civic, it was a Vti or something I think. Anyway this chap was the sort of person that will drive 35 in a 40 limit just in case.<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle> I began to overtake him. This pissed him off and he put his foot down. I knew that this road had a speed camera along it, and we were quite close to it, I drive a SE Coupe Turbo and it's very quick when the turbo kicks in. I dropped it down a gear and left Mr Civic behind as I stormed off up to the camera with my Turbo whistling away.<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle> I got just close enough to the Camera, then stomped on the brakes. I watched Mr Civic go shooting past in the inside lane, as I stuck my finger up at him and enjoyed the two bright flashes of the speed camera.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

All I have to say to Mr Civic is "how do you feel now?!!".<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Are there speed camera's in the US, if so everyone should go double kill some Honda!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ya there are some speed cameras but very few, the thing thats big are the cameras at stop lights. There a bitch.<img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>

LOL the only thing that I've seen close to a camera like that are those signs that have the posted speed limit and then how fast you are going. They are cheap and half the time don't even work. We do have red light cameras that take your pic if you are in the intersection on a red light. One of the ones on the way to my college is malfunctioning and taking pics of cars on green. Go figure. LOL I think that would be funny to get a ticket in the mail of your car going through a green light with a nice little fine at the bottom. <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

yeah we got those cameras at red lights her in CT as well.. never heard of anyone getting a ticket though.. dunno maybe they don't work or something.. oh well good story by the way.. <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Heh, we have both kinds of cameras here in Phoenix. I've actually been photographed twice for speeding with neither resulting in a ticket. One was in a rental car and the other was on my motorcycle with a full face helmet. We have a lot of those speeding cameras (mounted on moveable police vans), so I almost thought about driving around with a helmet all the time. <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
