Dual voice coil

dual vc means that there are two vc on the sub itself, you have to run both

dual 2 ohm you can run at 4 ohm or 1 ohm
dual 4 ohm you can run at 2 ohm or 8 ohm

my configuration is.. + - = + - in sequence, i'm not sure if im supposed to have the positive on one side hooked to the negative on the reverse side and vice versa? I have positive hooked to the positive on the reverse side, and the negative hooked to the negative on the reverse side.

you have them hooked up series.

I have had a long day so sorry if I am reading it wrong but did he say he had positive connected to positive, that is parallel if negitive connects to positive then that is series.
