I got a 97 FX and I was going to pick up one of these electric superchargers. I wanted to know if anybody has put one on a tiburon and if it helped on performance?

If you haven't heard of it is's at: electricsupercharger.com. It spins at 22,000 rpm and comes on only at full throttle. It blows 1 lb of boost and will increase 5-15 hp depending on type of car

Electric superchargers have been proven to require too much power to run them, to actually make a difference. If you could somehow drive around with a long house extension cord attached to it, then you could make more power than you'd lose, but as is, nope.

AHAHAHAHA. That is funny. Whats next...a Vaccuum cleaner....lol

I wonder if he was smart enough to over ride the on/off switch so once he starts the car, the blower turns on. Or does he start the engine...Then go out, pop the hood...embarass himself and after getting laughed at, turn on the blower, and then drive away <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Come on, give the Mustang guy props for ingenuity. It was probably cheaper than one of those crappy E-chargers. Hey, I made my own ram air out of a dryer hose, with mess screening on the and and a K&N filter in my air box. It works great.

cost me $15 as opposed to $250 for a CAI.

Do the larger throttle bodies make any difference? I am thinking of getting a cat back system either the Mozart or BMRP, anyone know which I am talking about? What kind of gains could I expect from the two?

That's what I was going to suggest. Don't know how much a BBTH costs for the Tibby but the eRam costs the same as a BBTH for an ACCENT. Recently had a brand new eRam mounted to my 1.6 Accent and it was worthless. Sold the eRam on eBay to some sucker and used the cash to buy a BBTH. Still waiting for the BBTH though. Been waiting for over a month! HDK SUCKS!

I wrote a product review of the eRam on my web page if you're interested. Look for it under the "updates" section.
