I have a 2005 GS tib and i just installed the eibach pro kit that gives about 1 3/4" drop. the only problem is when i dropped the car i had to take off 2 gold bars from the front of the car otherwise they would hit my rim when i turned the car. Does any one know if i need those 2 bars?

how big were they, what did they connect to, any pics???

they were gold and about one and a half feet long. i dont have any pics.

I would assume they were end-links for a sway-bar, or maybe not... could you post a pic? even if it's just of thesuspension set-up with the wheel off the car, some more information is necessary...

those are end links for your sway bar, theoretically you dont need them, but they help distribute weight and help the car move correctly in turns and stress, I would say you need them. it it sounds like you need Rims with the right offset. check on the offset for you stock wheels, that will solve the problems... sucks to find out this late down the line your wheels dont work for your car...

i was planning on doing some power mods before rims but i quess ill have to get the rims now. thx alot for the info.

i want to get some 18" rims. i have a 2005 tib. what would be a good offset so i could clear those end links. i searched here but all i found was the offset of a 2003 tib for 17" rims.

check in the tib forum for what other people have, I know the accent offset is 35-40...
