The Gt is still a bit too new, Elantra tech is working on a 2001 throttle body as we speak and some parts ( headders, intakes ) from older ones may work, give it just a little more time.

I drove a GT yesterday and was very impressed with this package, but disappointed that they didn't increase the engine performance from the std. Elantra motor. Anyone got any insight on why that is? How long before we start seeing aftermarket engine mods for this car?

It has the same motor im sure. there still making performance modds for the 2001's you can find a nice body kit from zefiro at www.sharkracing.com but its not for the GT just the sedan.

no kits for the GT they are too new and weird shaped Naw playin, but SR would look if you ask Sam to check in Korea., plus they weren't massed produced so thats a downfall for aftermarket goods.
