there is this vibration on the car, it's worst when it's in drive or reverse
plus when i turn on the ac it gets even worse, sometimes it stalls under gear

is it the engine because it does vibrate or is something else<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>

Ok. When did it start Virbarating. you might need a wheel alligement. if your car is stalling either A= your not giveing it enought gas or B= there might be a problem with you ECFI and injectors

A couple of things it could be. One, it could be the mass air flow sensor. There was a recall on this for some Elantra models. This causes the car to idle low and ultimately stall. Second, it could just be idling low out of the blue and need an adjustment. Usually when a car idles lower (Elantra normally idles at 7-800rpms) then normal, it can cause a vibration. Now, if you are experiencing the vibration on the highway while driving...That is a wheel problem. Either the tires are not balanced or need an alignment. Hope this helps. Any further comments...Please post them in the maintance forum.
